Home Again. Home Again.

Last night I returned home from the Corn Belt tired, but already ready to go back! It was a great weekend and Tyler and I were able to relax and have some fun while I was visiting. If my internet would work at home I could post pictures, so hopefully later today or this week I can share a few.

Friday was a very important day for me. I will have to explain ALL of that later. Lets just say that I need a couple of prayers and will fill you in if you desperately want to know what is going on. Nothing bad, I promise :) I also found SWEET TEA in Illinois AND chicken salad on this day. I was happy and felt a piece of home!

Saturday I won girlfriend of the year by letting Tyler go hunting with his buddy Scott. I am such a sucker for guys in camo so when he had all of his gear ready to go, I couldn't help but smile and giggle and let him go on his merry way. We had the whole morning together to make pancakes and veg out on the couch, so letting him loose in the afternoon wasn't a big deal to me. I watched some of the Wofford game on the computer, Carolina game on TV (what a yucky outcome for my gamecock friends) and then caught a glimpse of the Clemson game after my excusrion to the outlets again. I hit up Old Navy for these great cardigans. I think I have one in every color now!

the best part about these is that they were buy 1 get one free! whoo hoo!

After he returned from hunting, we bar hopped his little town with some of his friends. It was such a classyyyyy bar (did you catch my sarcasm?) but it was fun. Sunday we got up to go to church, ran some errands, went on a walk, and just hung out. I love weekends like that!

I was so happy to see him! I pray that I will not have to wait until Nov 18 to see him again.... We will see what life throws at us before then!

Hope you had a good weekend!

Ta ta,

Charlotte

just blog hopping by, Thanks for the hip tip about the old navy deal, is there really anything better in fall/winter than a great cardigan? I think not.
