Help!! Life Planner or Wedding Planner?

Looks like this little old blog of mine is turning into a wedding blog... whoops!

After talking to my mom and realizing my Type A personality, I think it is time to invest in a planner. I just don't know if I should get the Erin Condren Life Planner or her Wedding Planner??

HELP!!

I've never used an Erin Condren planner before so I can't offer any help :( I'm sure the wedding planner would be better suited for a wedding! Can't wait to hear all the details. (Don't forget that if you get married in SC, I'd love to help!!)

I don't use Erin Condren. I am super Type A too which is why I made a wedding binder. My thought process was that I wanted to be able to create my own tabs and I wanted it to fit everything wedding related inside. While I have wedding-related dates in my planner, I thought it was important to have one place that was everything wedding. I can put menus, dress swatches, pages/printouts of things I love. I have dividers and those clear page protectors. I love it because it has everything I need in one place, whether it's related to the menu options or the band's song list. Hope that helps!

My advice is to get a 3 ring binder for the wedding. Create tabs for everything (dress, photographer, band, catering, etc). Print pictures of ideas, store invoices and contracts, etc. Everything is in one place. Keep it up-to-date and organized.

A planner is great, but I didn't think there was enough room to keep everything together (specifically the contracts and paperwork from vendors).

I printed a few pages off wedding sites with checklists, our registry, and other things and kept them in the binder.

Hope this helps!

And it looks like Anna and I just said the exact same thing. Must be the name. :) Best of luck with the planning!

I would recommend if your type A to get a planner like EC for your everyday life and to put your meetings for the wedding in. But then you will def need a 3 ring binder with tabs so that you can have a different section for your attire/fittings, venue, reception, flowers, dj, food , budget etc. This way you can keep all your options in there while your deciding then throw out your nos. I had a binder that kept all my paperwork, contracts and ideas and took it literally everywhere

I am LOVING the top design :) I don't have a preference as I am not married (obvi haha), but I would google research reviews on the EC planner and see if it's worth it - I know they did some revamps to the daily planner that make it easier to deal with.
