sunglass search

I haven't bought a new pair of "real" sunglasses since 2008! My Ray Bans have seen better days and I am really ready to upgrade.

The problem is that I have a very small face and I can't wear sunglasses with huge frames because they really overshadow my features. I've done a little research and have found these four pair that I really want to try on to see how they'd work for me!

Now, I don't really have to get a super nice pair, I just would like a good pair that will last a long time.

sunnies

Now the question is, where do I go to try them on? Are there online stores with good sales where I can order, try on, and return? Or is it better to go in a store?

Thoughts?

Sunglass Hut is good because they usually carry a lot of styles, and they keep the classics in stock. Nordstrom is probably the best place to go- I would recommend going in store instead of ordering online, because that way if you suddenly see a pair to try on, you can do it! Good luck with finding sunnies, all of your picks are super cute!

I've always gone to Sunglass Hut to try them on and then searched for them cheaper on line! I love Ray Bans Way Farers. I feel like they look good on anyone.

I love love love my Costa Del Mar Isabela frames!! I've had them for 3 years. They are a bigger frame though. But Costas have a ton of frames to choose from! Good luck!

My suggestion is go to a store, try them on, then try and find them online. You'll probably get a better deal that way, but have the best of both worlds with trying them on, as well.
I notice you don't have any Costas listed. I have a small face, as well, and love my Costa Vellas. They don't overpower my face, and Costa is amazing in the fact that if something breaks, you don't have to buy a new pair. If it's their problem, they'll fix it for like $10. If it's yours, they'll charge you, but not nearly what a new pair would cost.
They make a pair similar to the Ray Ban aviators, as well. I think I'm actually going to ask for those for Christmas!

I like the MIchael Korrs 54! I would go try them on and then get them online. I haven't got a new pair since I was in HS either. I have them in 3 colors cause I loved them so much.

This may not be exactly what you're looking for, but I found the BEST pair of sunglasses at Anthropologie last year. They had a lot of variety, have held up really well, and were around $40.

I agree that Sunglass Hut has a great selection, but I never can seem to find a pair of designer sunglasses that actually fits my face!

I'm dying for the tortoise ray bans!
I had them in black, and they weren't overly big at all. Way more flattering for me!

I really like Saks Off Fifth and Nordstrom Rack for getting designer sunglasses! Granted, the selection is much more limited but if you find something you like you can get excellent deals! In the past year I have gotten great Kate Spade and Tory Burch sunnies from Saks Off Fifth and another pair of Kate Spade ones from Nordstrom Rack!

I always go to Sunglass Hut, or Nordstrom to try on and then order them on Ebay. I LOVE all of the designer ones, but do not love the price tags!

Oh I love the Tory's and tortoise Ray Bans you listed!

I just recently splurged on a tortoise shell pair from Coach. For the longest time, I bought cheapies from Target and they'd end up getting lost, scratched, beaten up, etc. I decided I needed to splurge on a good pair that would last me, and that I could take care of!
