Top 5 Tuesday: Books!

I needed this linkup today! I just started reading a new book and will finish it soon so I want to see what everyone else is reading!

Just Peachy

 1. All-time favorite: Nineteen Minutes, Jodi Picoult

I think this was the first book of hers I read and I was so obsessed.

2. Currently reading: Lone Wolf, Jodi Picoult (see a trend here?)

I'm pretty sure I've read them all! I do have a couple of other favorites of hers, too! I just love all of the love/crime/mystery of hers!

3. Heaven is For Real, Todd Burpo

This is truly an incredible story!

4. Nicholas Sparks, Safe Haven
Duh, I love Nicholas Sparks

5. The Happiness Project, Gretchen Rubin

A good self-help book!

Those are my favs!

Some others I've read that I suggest are ALL of Jodi Picoult's books, The Help, The Best Advice I Ever Got (by Katie Couric), Emily Giffin's books, Nicholas Sparks books, and the Great Gatsby is a long time favorite.

Now.. I need SOMEONE to explain what I missed in the Hunger Games and why I wasn't obsessed with the first book! What is wrong with me!? What did I miss? Why didn't I love it. Am I weird? Ah. Need answers!

Can't wait to see everyone's books and get some new ones for my Kindle!! Yay for reading and not being in school so I can read for fun! You can check out my books on goodreads.com and add me as a friend! :)

Linkup with Rachel!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe you didn't love the Hunger Games! I don't know what it is about it, but I was just sucked in!

Have you read Bitter is the New Black by Jen Lancaster? I think you would really like it!

Agree with both things Megan said. Love Jen Lancaster, and I did love the Hunger Games. However, I felt just like you did when reading Twilight. I could not get into it, and had to make myself finish the first book.

I am obsessed with the free books for the Kindle. I've read some awesome stuff. Also, Choosing to See by Mary Beth Chapman is only $2.99 right now. I just finished it, and really enjoyed it. If you want to borrow it, it is one of the ones you can loan on the Kindle.

There's a line towards the end of 19 minutes with always got me about how much can change in just 19 minutes. I also did not dig the hunger games that much :-).

I'm actually surprised that I liked the Hunger Games (on the third book now) I was expecting to quit before I finished the first book haha!
