This post is WAY overdue and I totally apologize to Caroline for that!

We celebrated my friend Caroline's bachelorette party earlier in May in Beaufort at my house! It was fun getting to really go out in my new town and I think a good time was had by all!

Caroline and I have been friends since kindergarten and I'm so honored to be her Matron of Honor in her wedding in two weeks!

No party is complete without lots of food!

This was my one DIY I did for the party! I got wooden letters from Michaels and modge podged scrapbook paper and burlap onto them. I need to go back and get a Mr. & to add to the beginning so they can use it for the reception.

weekend wear: bachelorette weekend

This weekend I am hosting a bachelorette party for my bride-to-be friend Caroline! I am having six girls total, so I have been busy cooking, decorating, and cleaning! I am really excited that it is supposed to be nice and warm (finally)! 

We are going to have fun playing games, drinking sangria, laying on the beach, and going out to celebrate the bachelorette! Cannot wait to recap the weekend for you next week!!!

My Bachelorette Weekend!

Oh.My.Gosh.

This weekend was SO much fun!!!! We had an absolute blast in Savannah, despite the chilly weather. 10 of my closest friends partied it up with me all weekend! Shoutout to Claudia for driving 7 hours from south Florida-- the best!

Here are some of my favorite shots from this weekend.... Thank goodness Kristin captured all of our silliness. I'm usually one of the photographers, but not this time! I do have a few "artsy" tourist shots I will share later.

Before going out Friday night. We started out getting everyone together with games, appetizers, and drinks. We got a little rowdy (sorry old people next door), so ended up going out to a few bars and dancing. I had too much fun.....

I sort of jammed out with the band by myself for a while. Typical.

Brunch at Huey's- so so so good! We had everything from shrimp and grits to eggs Benedict to french toast to omelets. Oh and mimosas and bloody marys!

Drinks at Rocks on the Roof. This place is the best hands down. Such a fun atmosphere and later they had an amazing DJ.

Bachelorette Party Favors

As you are reading this I am getting ready for my Bachelorette Party in Savannah!!!!!

I have 10 lovely ladies heading down that way with me for the weekend and I cannot wait. It is going to be so much fun!

I wanted to put together a little something for each of them thanking them for coming with me this weekend because Savannah isn't really around the corner.....

My wonderful MOH Rebecca did some gift bags for everyone, but I wanted to do something too! Thanks to a snapshot I saw on Pinterest (always), this is what I came up with.

Girl essentials: champagne, chocolate, and nail polish!

I found the mini champagne bottles at BiLo and the nail polish, chocolate, cellophane, and ribbon from K-Mart.

Such an easy project to put together!

Gatorade for the mommy-to-be!

I'll let you know what they think of them! For less than $10 a piece, I would totally make these again for other occasions!
